Our clients seek out Magnolia Grace Senior Care because we offer compassionate, reliable, and professional care. We perform complete background checks, a thorough screening process, and awareness training. The detailed process implemented ensures the caregiver is properly paired with the correct client.

Magnolia Grace Senior Care provides the utmost qualified, trustworthy caregivers to meet the needs of our clients. Our senior care companions are compassionate, trustworthy, and reliable professionals who encompass genuine love for the care of senior citizens. Our caregivers understand the need and desire of elders to live independently in their own homes. We offer a variety of senior care companion positions that will meet your needs and availability.
We support the lifelong process of professional growth and development in our senior care companions by offering special awareness training in many areas. Our training includes: home safety, healthy eating, record keeping, maintaining daily logs, and treating our seniors with respect and dignity.

All of our care companions must meet the following basic requirements:

  • NON-SMOKER 
  • AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD 
  • HAVE EXEMPLARY MORAL CHARACTER 
  • HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED 
  • CERTIFICATION FROM AN ACCREDITED CNA, PCA, HHA, MEDICAL ASSISTANT OR EQUIVALENT
  • CAN READ, WRITE, AND SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY 
  • HAVE ACCESS TO A VEHICLE TO TRAVEL TO AND FROM POSITIONS 
  • WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A LEVEL II CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK 
  • HAVE A VALID U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE WITH A GOOD DRIVING RECORD AND CURRENT AUTO INSURANCE 
  • AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF VERIFIABLE, PROFESSIONAL HEALTH CARE OR ELDER CARE EXPERIENCE 
  • HAVE CURRENT CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFICATION
  • HAVE IMPECCABLE, VERIFIABLE REFERENCES FROM PREVIOUS EMPLOYERS 
  • PROVIDE A PASSPORT IF AVAILABLE FOR USE IN TRAVEL CARE WITH FAMILIES
      24-hour-care

      Key Responsibilities

      • Implement Plan of Care 
      • Remind clients of medications 
      • Complete necessary documentation 
      • Assist clients with activities and their daily life routines
      • Assure that needed supplies are maintained and monitor to insure client privacy 
      • Assist with or perform meal preparation, and the incidental household services 
      • Record and report changes in the client’s condition, family situation or needs to the Team Lead

          Education, Training and Experience

          • Graduation from high school (or equivalent)
          • Certification from an accredited CNA, PCA, HHA, or Medical Assistant, or equivalent.
